2025 Impact Report
As we reflect on the 2025 program year, we want to begin with sincere gratitude. To our dedicated staff, volunteer mentors, generous donors, landowners, and industry partners—thank you. Your commitment, time, and belief in our mission continue to fuel meaningful outdoor mentorship opportunities for youth across our communities. This work would not be possible without you.
In 2025, Pass It On – Outdoor Mentors experienced one of our most impactful years to date. We planned a total of 879 events. Through these efforts, we served 1,698 youth, providing hands-on mentorship experiences rooted in hunting, fishing, shooting sports, and conservation education. Collectively, these events represent more than 10,932 hours of mentorship—hours spent building confidence, skills, relationships, and lifelong connections to the outdoors.
While the numbers are impressive, the true impact of 2025 goes far beyond data points. Each event represents a young person gaining confidence, learning responsibility, practicing patience, and discovering a sense of belonging in the outdoors. Through mentorship, youth are not only developing outdoor skills—they are learning respect for wildlife, land, and one another. These experiences shape character, encourage resilience, and open doors to lifelong engagement with conservation and outdoor traditions.
Looking ahead to 2026, we are energized by the momentum built this year. With new coordinators coming on board, we are projecting 1,000+ events and expanding into at least 2 more states. This growth reflects both the increasing demand for mentored outdoor experiences and our commitment to meeting that need responsibly and sustainably.
As we move forward, we invite you to continue this journey with us—by mentoring, donating, opening land access, or sharing our mission with others. Your support ensures that outdoor traditions are not lost but intentionally passed on through mentorship, education, and meaningful experiences.
Thank you for standing with Pass It On – Outdoor Mentors, for believing in the power of mentorship, and for helping shape a future where youth have access to the outdoors and the life lessons it provides.
