Invest in Proven Programs. Create Lasting Change.
Advancing Youth Development Through Outdoor Mentorship
Outdoor Mentors partners with philanthropic foundations that believe in the power of mentorship, meaningful outdoor experiences, and conservation education.
Our model addresses the barriers that prevent interested young people from participating in hunting, fishing, trapping, and other outdoor activities.
By providing access to experienced mentors, equipment, locations, and ongoing opportunities, we help young people build skills, confidence, and a lifelong connection to the outdoors.
Areas of Funding Opportunity

Help cultivate the next generation of conservation-minded hunters, anglers, and outdoor stewards.

Geographic Expansion

Organizational Capacity and Sustainability
Invest in the staffing, infrastructure, and resources necessary to scale a proven model while maintaining program quality.
A Model Built for Lasting Participation
Many outdoor education initiatives focus on introducing young people to a new activity.
Outdoor Mentors takes the next step.
Our programs provide repeatable, mentored opportunities that allow interested young people to build their skills, develop confidence, and continue participating over time.
We measure our work not simply by the number of young people reached, but by our ability to create opportunities for continued outdoor engagement.
