Bobby Cole
Bobby Cole was born and raised in southwest Kansas, where he developed a passion for hunting, fishing, and the outdoors alongside his father, brother, grandfather, and uncle. Those early experiences instilled a lifelong appreciation for the outdoors and the importance of passing those traditions on to the next generation.
Bobby served 14 years in the Kansas Army National Guard, including deployments to Egypt and Djibouti. After returning from his second deployment, he rediscovered his passion for the outdoors and began using hunting and fishing as a way to support the mental health and well-being of veterans, first responders, and active duty service members. That passion for mentoring eventually led him to Outdoor Mentors. Today, he still volunteers with Operation Phoenix Outdoors whenever time allows, continuing to serve those who have served others.
Today, Bobby serves as the Regional Program Manager for Outdoor Mentors. He helps oversee programming across multiple states while personally coordinating youth hunting, fishing, and conservation events throughout western Kansas and Oklahoma. He is passionate about building partnerships, recruiting volunteers, and creating opportunities that introduce young people to the outdoors in a safe, educational, and meaningful way.
Bobby is also the co-host of the WildThang Outdoors Podcast, where he and his co-host dive into the people, places, and traditions that keep the outdoors alive. As lifelong outdoorsmen and students of the outdoors, they're always looking to learn something new from the hunters, anglers, trappers, biologists, and conservationists who shape our outdoor heritage.
Bobby lives in western Oklahoma with his beautiful wife and four children. When he's not working, volunteering, or chasing something with wings, you'll usually find him planning his family's next adventure.
"It is truly an honor to be part of the Outdoor Mentors team. I believe our hunting and fishing traditions only survive if we're willing to invest in the next generation. Every young person deserves the opportunity to experience the outdoors alongside a caring mentor, and I'm proud to play a small part in preserving that legacy for years to come." -Bobby Cole

Regional Program Manager
A lifelong Kansas resident, Nate Bartley’s love for the outdoors started at a young age and sometimes resulted in a tardy or unexcused absence from school, especially during the opening days of deer and turkey season. Nate has been hunting and fishing since the age of eight and is largely self taught, learning through years of experience, trial and error, and time spent in the field. The outdoors has been a big part of Nate Bartley’s life ever since.
For the past 22 years, Nate Bartley has worked as a Deputy Sheriff. Giving back to his community has always been important to him. Over the years, he has volunteered with Scouts and coached youth baseball, basketball, and football. More recently, he has stayed involved with young people as a referee for high school football and basketball.
In 2023, Nate began his journey as an outdoor mentor, helping introduce others to the outdoors through deer, turkey, dove, and upland hunts. For Nate Bartley, mentoring is a chance to share something that has meant so much to him throughout his life and give kids opportunities he wishes he would have had growing up.
Nate is married and has one son, three stepdaughters, and seven grandchildren, five girls and two boys. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his wife, offshore fishing, turkey hunting, golfing, cooking and competing in BBQ competitions, and training his German Shorthaired Pointers.
“I didn’t have an outdoor mentor growing up, so I had to figure out a lot of things on my own. That is one of the biggest reasons I’m so excited to be part of the Outdoor Mentors family. I have the chance to be the mentor for a kid that I wish I would have had growing up. I want to give kids the opportunity to experience hunting, fishing, and trapping, teach them what I’ve learned along the way, and help them make memories they’ll never forget. I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to pass on our hunting, fishing, and trapping legacy and do my part to make sure these traditions are still around for generations to come.”
For Nate Bartley, joining Outdoor Mentors is about more than getting kids outdoors. It is about giving the next generation someone to learn from, someone to share those first experiences with, and someone who can help turn a first hunt, fishing trip, or day on the trapline into a lifelong passion for the outdoors.

Tyler Coleman
A lifelong Pennsylvania resident, Coleman was introduced to hunting and fishing at a young age by his grandfather and members of the Nick Barry family. Those early mentorship experiences played a critical role in developing his passion for the outdoors, conservation, and hunting while helping shape his character and career path.
"It is an honor to join the team at Outdoor Mentors," Coleman said. "I understand firsthand the importance of mentorship and conservation, especially when it starts at a young age. Some of life's greatest lessons are learned in the field while hunting and fishing, and I look forward to creating those opportunities for youth across Pennsylvania while helping further the Outdoor Mentors mission."
Coleman is an award winning taxidermist and decoy carver and owns and operates Full Circle Waterfowl LLC, a highly regarded waterfowl taxidermy and media business. He brings the skills gained from growing Full Circle to Outdoor Mentors, along with extensive mentorship experience, a broad network of contacts throughout Pennsylvania's hunting and fishing communities, and a tireless dedication to conservation and sporting traditions. He has also generously shared his expertise by dedicating countless hours to leading fundraising committees for nonprofit organizations throughout Pennsylvania.

Haley Faith
Haley was born and raised in southern New Jersey, where she currently resides with her husband and their "daughter"—a beloved standard poodle named Ellie May. Haley holds a B.S. in Marine Biology and has spent years working with non-profit conservation groups doing everything from youth mentoring and environmental education to fundraising and volunteer recruitment. She has also developed networks and collaborations with numerous outdoor industry partners and serves as an ambassador for Girls with Guns Clothing Co.
Haley’s love for the outdoors and conservation runs deep, thanks to a rich hunting heritage passed down from both sides of her family. She started hunting at just 10 years old when she harvested her first deer with her dad. Since then, she has expanded her adventures to include hunting turkeys, ducks, geese, squirrels, upland birds, and her absolute favorite, elk. Haley is passionate about living off the land, cooking her own harvests, and sharing the "field-to-plate" lifestyle as a great tool for holistic health. When she isn't outdoors, camping, farming, or fishing, you can find her working out. She is a certified yoga instructor and fitness coach who enjoys channelling her energy to help others live their healthiest and happiest lives.
“I am honored and grateful to be a part of the Outdoor Mentors Team This opportunity is truly a dream come true, allowing me to turn my lifelong passions into a dedicated career of service. I understand that protecting the outdoor activities I love requires inspiring the next generation to get involved. I believe this work is more important now than ever because the number of hunters is declining while screen time and obesity rates are rising. I am eager to empower young people to get outdoors, preserve my family's hunting heritage, and find greater purpose by carrying out the mission of Outdoor Mentors.”
