In Memory of Anthony Mathew Lumetta II
Anthony Mathew Lumetta II, (“Littl Anth”) 26, died at home in Cedar Falls, Monday, May 25, 2020, after a brief illness. He was born October 26, 1993 in Waterloo, the son of Anthony and Tracy (Brettmann) Lumetta. Anthony was a 2012 graduate of Cedar Falls High School and studied Business at Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo. He was an Eagle Scout with Boy Scout Troop 158, a life member of Ducks Unlimited and was a life member of NRA. Anthony was an avid hunter, fisherman and was passionate for all things outdoors. Anthony’s favorite thing to do was spending time with his family, especially his cousins.
He is survived by his parents of Cedar Falls; his two sisters, Dana Lumetta of Tampa Florida and Megan Lumetta of Iowa City; his grandmothers, May Lumetta and Nancy Brettmann, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Anthony was preceded in death by his brother Joseph in infancy and his grandfathers, Mathew Lumetta and Tom Brettmann.
Burial was at Harlington Cemetery in Waverly, IA. Casket bearers: Alex, Austin & Ben Buhrow, Mathew & Michael Lumetta, Lucas & Jonathan Kitelinger. A memorial has been established with Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors, to be used to get youth in Black Hawk and Bremer county out hunting and fishing.
