Council Announces: The Assessment Group (TAG) & TAG Review Panel Members
Press Release from the Council to Advance Hunting & Shooting Sports:
The response to the Council’s call for Statements of Interest for participation on TAG and TAG Review Panel was overwhelming! We are incredibly grateful for this community’s support for the National Hunting and Shooting Sports Action Plan. While it was challenging to whittle down the list of highly qualified candidates to fill the specific slots available, the Council is delighted to announce the membership of these two work groups!

Primary objectives of TAG and TAG Review Panel:
Evaluate products created by the Implementation Work Group (IWG)
Form recommendations based on results of evaluations (Council will respond to and implement recommendations)
Assess the National Hunting and Shooting Sports Action Plan (National Plan) and revise if needed
Develop steps for facilitation of the implementation of the assessed/revised National Plan
Assess and analyze priorities for MSCGP and suggest updates if needed
Pursue additional R3-related initiatives if desired and as approved through the formal project process.
The Council will host an in-person kick-off meeting for TAG on Sunday, February 13th of 2022 in Des Moines, IA. TAG Review Panel will not convene in person until the National R3 Symposium in Broken Arrow, OK on May 2-5th, 2022.
