Kansas & Iowa Mentor Of The Year

Our mission is to get kids out hunting, fishing, and enjoying outdoor recreation through mentorship. It is because of our volunteer mentors that our program is growing and flourishing the way it is. It is with our most significance that we announce our Kansas and Iowa Mentor Of The Year Recipients. Dan and Tomas, thank you for all you do! You are an inspiration to so many and we are thankful for eagerness and passion to serve youth in the outdoors!

Please help us congratulate our 2022 Kansas Mentor Of The Year, Dan Stark! Since Dan got involved with us, he has hosted numerous events for Kansas youth, varying from deer hunts, squirrel hunts, duck hunts, and deer processing clinics! He has a true passion for sharing outdoor experiences with others and unwavering support for our mission to provide kids with new and continued hunting opportunities. He is an incredible example of how we can all do better and be better. Dan, thank you for everything you do and will continue to do for others! With our most significant appreciation, we are excited to announce our 2022 Iowa Mentor Of The Year, Tomas Heidenwirth! Tomas has set the bar high for all mentors by always being the one to step up and pass it on! He is part of the North Butler Pheasants Forever Chapter and has an immense passion for upland hunting. Iowa Program Coordinator Steph Lane said, "Tomas is a fantastic mentor, advocate and friend. And I know when he’s involved, he will give his all. His passion and dedication have impacted so many people, and we are beyond grateful for him!" Thank you, and Congratulations Tomas!
