Pass It On – Outdoor Mentors Awarded $6,250 Cox Charities Grant to Support Outdoor Mentoring Programs for Youth

Pass It On – Outdoor Mentors is proud to announce that it has been awarded a $6,250 grant from Cox Charities to support its Outdoor Mentoring Program. This generous funding will help connect more youth with caring mentors, giving them the opportunity to experience hunting, fishing, and other outdoor traditions.

“Our mission is to pass on the love of the outdoors to the next generation,” said Brittany French, CEO. “This grant from Cox Charities ensures that more young people will have the chance to build meaningful relationships with mentors, learn new skills, and develop a lifelong appreciation for conservation and the natural world.”

Pass It On – Outdoor Mentors works with dedicated volunteers to create lasting connections between mentors and youth, many of whom might not otherwise have the opportunity to enjoy outdoor activities. The program emphasizes not only hunting and fishing but also life skills, resilience, and a commitment to conservation.

“We’re incredibly grateful to Cox Charities and Cox Communications for believing in our mission,” said French. “Together, we’re opening doors for kids to discover the outdoors in a safe and supportive environment.”
