JOHNSON COUNTY YOUTH DUCK HUNT

This event is being hosted by local Johnson County Mnetors, Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors, Inc, and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. This hunt is open to 6 youth hunters. All youth must be hunter education certified. 

SCHEDULE + DETAILS

DATE: November 27th

LOCATION: Coralville Lake Reservoir Coralville, Iowa

TIME: Arrive at 5:00 AM

AGE OF YOUTH: 11 years or age- 18 years of age

NUMBER OF HUNTERS: 6

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Must have Hunters Education and Migratory Bird Fee, and Federal Duck Stamp.

WHAT TO EXPECT: There will be 3 mentors and hunters will meet at designated boat ramp for introductions and safety meeting.

DON'T FORGET

  • All participants must have their Hunter Education Certificate!

  • Bring Your Firearm and Ammo -Please let us know if you do not have one.

  • Dress Accordingly To Weather

  • Hunting License + Permit(s) Needed. Migratory bird stamp. For youth who are 16 years of age and older, you must purchase a hunting license. Youth under the age of 16 do not have to purchase a hunting license.

  • ALL youth hunters must purchase appropriate tags/permits for their hunt.
