JOHNSON COUNTY AREA GOOSE HUNT

This event is being hosted by local Johnson County Mentors, Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors, Inc, and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. This hunt is open to 5 youth hunters. All youth must be hunter education certified. 

SCHEDULE + DETAILS

DATE: January 2nd 2022

LOCATION: To be determined based on scouting expect 1.5 radius of Johnson County area

TIME: Arrive at 5:30 AM

AGE OF YOUTH: 11 years or age- 18 years of age

NUMBER OF HUNTERS: 5

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Must have Hunters Education and Migratory Bird Fee.

WHAT TO EXPECT: There will be 3 mentors and hunters will meet at designated location for a quick introduction and safety meeting before setup.
