WASHINGTON COUNTY YOUTH TURKEY SEASON APRIL 10TH

This event is being hosted by Steph Lane of Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors, Inc, and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources. This hunt is open to 1 youth hunter. All youth must be hunter education certified. 

SCHEDULE + DETAILS

DATE: Saturday, May 8th

LOCATION: Washington County/Wellman Iowa area. Will meet at Steph's house and ride together for a hunt.  

TIME: Arrive at 5:00AM **

AGE OF YOUTH: 11 years or age- 16 years of age

NUMBER OF HUNTERS: 1

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Hunters must be Hunters Education Certified

WHAT TO EXPECT: Steph will take one hunter and guardian we will meet to make a brief plan and head out to our spots to set up. 

DON'T FORGET

• All participants must have their Hunter Education Certificate

• Bring Your Firearm and Ammo -Please let us know if you do not have one.

• Dress Accordingly To Weather

• Hunting License + Permit(s) Needed. For youth who are 16 years of age and older, you must purchase a hunting license. Youth under the age of 16 do not have to purchase a hunting license.

• ALL youth hunters must purchase appropriate tags/permits for their hunt.
