This event is being hosted by Brett Heckel, Family Outdoor Recreation and Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors, Inc. This hunt is open to 8 youth between the ages of 11-18. All youth must be hunters’ education certified and accompanied by a guardian.

DATE: Saturday Feb 25th 2023

 LOCATION:

 Private Land Near Garden City, KS 

TIME: 1:00 PM until finished 

AGE OF YOUTH: 11-18, Youth must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. 

NUMBER OF HUNTERS: 8

LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Kansas Hunting License for youth over 15.

WHAT TO EXPECT: 

This will be a Eurasian dove/Pigeon hunt in Finney County KS we will meet at Love's Tuck Stop then carpool to private property.  We will conduct introductions and a safety talk them move to the hunting area.  We will be hunting over decoys and we will hunt until dark then the mentors will show the youth how to clean the birds. 

• Bring Your Firearm and Ammo - recommend, 2 3/4"  #6 - #7 1/2. If you don't have a firearm or ammo let us know. 

• Dark colored or cammo clothing. 

• Dress Accordingly To Weather

• something to sit on

• Ziplock bag for birds

• ALL hunters must purchase appropriate tags/permits for their hunt. See above
