Director of Operations

Mike Christensen

Mike grew up in Western Kansas, where hunting was simply a way of life and chasing quail behind a bird dog became a lifelong passion. In 2002, he was hired as Director of Outdoor Mentoring by Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters, laying the groundwork for what would become Pass It On Outdoor Mentors. When the organization became its own 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2006, the mission remained clear: recruit mentors to spend time hunting and fishing alongside youth. Mike has spent decades building that foundation of mentorship and opportunity. He and his wife of 48 years reside in Wichita, Kansas.
