HuntStand Continues Corporate Sponsorship with Pass It On – Outdoor Mentors
Wichita, KS. Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors is proud to announce that HuntStand has continued their sponsorship of our mission to empower young people through outdoor experiences and mentorship.
“We are incredibly grateful for HuntStand’s continued partnership and belief in our mission,” said Scott Petrie, CEO of Pass It On – Outdoor Mentors. “One of the greatest barriers facing young people who want to hunt or fish is simply knowing where to go and how to navigate confidently and responsibly once they get there. HuntStand provides cutting-edge mapping technology and property information that empowers both mentors and youth with the tools they need to succeed in the field. By removing uncertainty and increasing confidence, this partnership directly strengthens our ability to introduce more young people to safe, ethical, and meaningful outdoor experiences.”
“We are honored to continue our support of Pass it On – Outdoor Mentors,” said HuntStand’s Vice President of Corporate Relations, Brian Murphy. “Few organizations, regardless of size, can match their track record of success recruiting young hunters, anglers, and shooters. We look forward to supporting their efforts to increase participation in the outdoor pursuits we cherish while ensuring a bright future for America’s proud hunting, fishing, and shooting traditions.”

About Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors
Founded in 2002, Pass It On – Outdoor Mentors is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing mentored hunting and fishing opportunities to youth who otherwise would not have access to the outdoors. Through a structured, safety-focused model, we pair young people from diverse backgrounds with trained volunteer mentors who guide them through hands-on experiences that build confidence, responsibility, and life skills.
Many of the youth we serve lack access to land, equipment, outdoor knowledge, or a hunting and fishing heritage. By removing these barriers, we foster lifelong connections to wildlife and conservation while helping recruit the next generation of hunters and anglers, the primary funders of wildlife management in North America.
At a time when youth are increasingly disconnected from nature, our programs help counteract Nature Deficit Disorder by promoting time outdoors, physical activity, and an understanding of where food comes from.
Our goal is to deliver mentored hunting and fishing opportunities in at least 40 states and Canada within the next four years. For more information, visit https://outdoormentors.org/.
