Kansas Ringneck Classic Expands Impact Through Sponsorship of Pass It On Outdoor Mentors
Pass It On Outdoor Mentors is honored to announce the continued partnership with the Kansas Ringneck Classic, a premier upland hunting event committed to celebrating Kansas’ outdoor heritage and investing in the next generation of hunters. This long-standing collaboration continues to play a crucial role in connecting youth to safe, mentored hunting opportunities across the state.
As a dedicated sponsor, the Ringneck Classic provides financial and strategic support that enables Pass It On Outdoor Mentors to expand access to youth hunting events, recruit volunteer mentors, and create memorable outdoor experiences for kids who may not otherwise have the opportunity to learn hunting, shooting sports, and conservation firsthand.
“The Kansas Ringneck Classic has been instrumental in helping us grow our mission across the state,” said Brittany French, CEO of Pass It On Outdoor Mentors. “Their continued investment allows us to create more opportunities for youth to be mentored in the outdoors—something we believe is key to preserving both our hunting traditions and the character-building experiences that come with them.”
Each year, the Ringneck Classic convenes hunters, conservationists, industry leaders, and community partners in Colby, Kansas, to celebrate upland bird hunting and raise support for organizations prioritizing wildlife habitat, mentorship, and rural community engagement. The funds raised through the Classic help fuel the boots-on-the-ground efforts of Pass It On Outdoor Mentors across Kansas and beyond.
“We’re proud to support the mission of Pass It On Outdoor Mentors,” said Justin Jamison, Board President of the Kansas Ringneck Classic. “Introducing youth to the outdoors through mentorship is one of the most meaningful ways we can ensure the future of hunting and conservation. Watching these young people learn and thrive in the field is a direct result of the work being done by the team at Pass It On.”
In 2024 alone, Pass It On Outdoor Mentors hosted more than 800 mentored events across Kansas, Iowa, and Wisconsin—connecting over 2,000 youth with skilled mentors in the outdoors. Thanks to key partners like the Ringneck Classic, the organization continues to increase access to quality programming and provide essential gear, land access, and training resources that make these experiences safe, educational, and unforgettable.
