Pass It On – Outdoor Mentors Announces Collaboration With Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation

Wichita, KS.  Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors is proud to announce that they have signed an MOU with the Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation (SSSF) with the intention to collaborate with one another to serve SSSF shooting sports athletes in the outdoors for free.

“The Scholastic Shooting Sports Foundation is doing a great job at introducing youth to clay target and action shooting programs,” said CEO Brittany French. “We have found that many of these athletes are eager to learn how to hunt and fish. Many of them face barriers like land access, knowledge of how to get started, and lack of friends to hunt with. We are eager to partner with SSSF to change that by providing free opportunities for these athletes.”

Rick Leach, President and Executive Director of SSSF stated, “We are excited to partner with Pass It On - Outdoor Mentors.  We are teaching our youth athletes the safe and responsible handling of firearms. Pass It On is giving our athletes the opportunity to participate in the American heritage of hunting and fishing. Many of the youth in our programs would not get this opportunity if not for this partnership.”
