Midwest Outdoor Heritage Education Expo (MOHEE) is presented & coordinated by The Outdoor Heritage Education Center (OHEC), non-profit conservation organization with the assistance of our many conservation friends.
Dates:
May 7th, 2025 at Havenwoods State Forest, Milwaukee WI
May 14th or 15th, 2025 (pick the day that works best) at the MacKenzie Center in Poynette, WI.
This event is a unique outdoor field trip where students can be face-to-face with wildlife, engage in outdoor recreational activities such as; archery, airgun/bb gun safety, fishing, and more. Natural resource disciplines and activities such as fisheries, forestry, wildlife and more all in one location. Students can explore mentored programs so they can develop outdoor skills and enjoy lifelong outdoor activities. Connect with educators, trained safety instructors and other volunteer mentors provide an enriching and engaging experience connecting the individual to Wisconsin's natural resources, outdoor heritage and lifelong skills.
Event is FREE
Transportation funding available, based on need.
Ideal for the 4th - 7th grade audience.
Event times: 9am - 3pm
Open house style, rotate between activity stations at your own pace.
